Children, Youth & Families
Grow in Faith Together
Children and young people are full members of the worshiping community. St. Paul’s offers age-appropriate places to explore Scripture, prayer, Episcopal tradition, and the love of God, while families build relationships and find companions for the journey of faith.
Parents and caregivers do not need to have every answer. We welcome questions, curiosity, movement, and the many ways children and youth experience God.
Sunday Schedule
During the program year, formation meets from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.:

Episcopal Youth Community - downstairs in the designated youth room

Children’s Formation - upstairs in the children’s wing

Nursery care is available from 9:15 a.m. to noon for infants through age five throughout the year.
Children and Families
Children’s Formation creates age-appropriate opportunities to explore Scripture, prayer, Episcopal tradition, and the love of God. Family-ministry events offer additional ways for children, parents, and caregivers to build relationships throughout the year.

Episcopal Youth Community
The Episcopal Youth Community gives young people a place to grow in faith, build friendships, serve, and share life in the church. Sunday formation meets during the program year, with additional events and service opportunities announced through parish communications.
Isaac McDowell, Associate for Youth & Parish Life
Isaac leads youth ministry and helps facilitate parish-life ministries. A 2021 graduate of the University of South Carolina, he has served in international mission work in Central and South America and in youth ministry within the Diocese of East Carolina. He enjoys staying active, cooking, traveling, and time with family and friends.
