Education for Ministry is a four-year program of theological study and reflection developed by the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. No previous theological background is required. Adults of any denomination and at any point in their faith journey are welcome.

With a trained mentor, participants discuss readings in Scripture, church history, and theology. Sessions include worship or meditation and reflection on where God is present in everyday experience. Study, prayer, fellowship, and mutual care help connect learning with the ways each person is called to live and serve.
