A Small Act of Welcome

During a recent stretch of extreme heat, Judith stopped by St. Paul’s Blessing Box to add bottles of water for anyone who might need them.

When she arrived, she noticed that others had already left water and snacks. It was a simple but meaningful reminder that many hands help keep this ministry going.

As Judith was filling the box, a delivery truck passed by. The driver waved and called out, “Keep up the good work!”

For Judith, those words felt like encouragement meant for the whole parish.

The Blessing Box, located at the corner of 16th and Princess streets, is one small way St. Paul’s lives out its call to care for our neighbors. Through the generosity of parishioners and members of the surrounding community, food, water, and basic necessities are available to anyone who needs them.

Judith reflected, “His message of thanks is for everyone because of your compassion and generosity for the ‘least of Mine.’ I am so grateful to be a member of St. Paul’s. Amen.”
