ALL THINGS NEW: Annual Stewardship Campaign
Updated: 1 day ago

Beloved of St. Paul’s,
Each Sunday morning, as sunlight begins to stretch across our sanctuary, I am reminded of the quiet power of grace. It turns our hearts toward the future with hope. As we enter this year’s stewardship season, the text stirring in my heart comes from Revelation 21:5: “Behold, I am making all things new.”
ALL THINGS NEW is more than an inspiring theme for a campaign; it is the daily active work of God in our parish as we live out our calling together.
We see this renewal taking root across every dimension of our shared life:
Worship: Fresh energy in our liturgy, new voices joining our choir, and children filling our pews, gathering to renew our ancient prayers with vibrant faith.
Welcome: Open doors and gracious hearts ensuring everyone who steps through our entryways—whether a long-time member or a first-time visitor—finds a sanctuary of warmth, refuge, and belonging.
Witness: A multiplication of new hands serving our Wilmington neighbors, sharing Christ’s love beyond our walls through active participation with our community partners, and taking our place, alongside many others, as a beacon of hope in our community.
In addition, we have a new curate, mission statement, logo, website, set of red doors, light in the steeple and initiation of our long-anticipated renovations.
Making all things new requires intention, faith, and resources. Our annual pledge campaign sustains every aspect of St. Paul's: preserving our sacred space, fueling our outreach programs, and supporting the staff who guide our common life.
Stewardship is ultimately an act of gratitude and trust. It is an invitation to reflect on God's abundant gifts and discern how we can offer a portion back to support God’s work at St. Paul’s, in Wilmington and beyond.
In the coming weeks, you will receive your pledge materials. I ask you to pray faithfully about your financial commitment to St. Paul’s for the upcoming year. Whether you are increasing your pledge, giving for the first time, or maintaining your steadfast support, your contribution matters deeply.
Thank you for your devotion to the Gospel, your love for this parish, and your faithful partnership as we worship, welcome, and witness together while God continues to make ALL THINGS NEW.
Faithfully,
The Reverend Caleb J. Lee
Rector
