Dear St. Paul’s Family,

In this season of thanksgiving, we thank you for your continued support of St. Paul’s. Your collective commitment has allowed St. Paul’s to share God’s light throughout our community. As the year draws to a close, we invite you to remember St. Paul’s in your 2026 year-end charitable gift-giving.

IRA gifts for those 70 ½ or older:  Those 70 ½ or older can direct up to $111,000 or $222,000 for married taxpayers if both spouses are 70-1/2 or older each year to eligible charities via a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). QCD gifts to St. Paul’s may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the tax year. Please note, any funds transferred from your IRA to a charity at the end of December must be cleared from your IRA by December 31 to count for the 2026 tax year. If you plan to make a gift using a QCD as described above, contact your tax advisor to determine if you qualify. Please contact the holder of your IRA right away for 2026.

Maximize Your Impact with a Matching Gift: Many employers match gifts made to St. Paul’s, and some may even double it! Ask your benefits department if they will match your gift and maximize your gift’s impact with no added cost from you. St. Paul’s EIN is 56-0694197.

Prepay some or all your 2026 stewardship pledge prior to December 31, 2026. For those who itemize their deductions, this can be an option.  If you choose to do this, be sure to add the following note in the memo line on your actual or online check payment: Prepaid 2026 Pledge.

You can also designate whether your gift will count towards the current 2027 Pledge dsfCampaign or if you want to make a gift to St. Paul’s Endowment Fund. Please contact Lynne Rooks, St. Paul’s Finance Manager, at 910-762-4578 with questions or any need for assistance.

Your gift to St. Paul’s mission and ministries allows us to do the work that God is calling us to do.

With grateful hearts, we thank you,

Your Stewardship Team and Endowment Board
