Contract with Chambliss & Rabil Signed!

The Rector and the Vestry met (in person and via Zoom) with the Construction Committee on Sunday, September 20. The purpose of the meeting was to review and consider approval of the final contract with Chambliss & Rabil, St. Paul’s general contractor for our renovation project.  The Construction Committee and members of the Vestry, staff, and various other committees have been working on our behalf all summer to fine tune this contract and to prepare our finances for the work ahead. The Vestry voted unanimously to approve the final contract and move forward with construction! 

There are already significant signs of construction. In particular, work has begun in the

narthex and in the south basement level. The basement has been sealed off to foot traffic beginning at the main level landing of our three-story staircase. However, there IS safe and easy access to the children’s wing.
