Spring 2026 Renovation Update

Spring 2026 marked an important transition in St. Paul’s renovation project as years of planning began to translate into visible changes around the campus.

One of the first signs came in February, when St. Paul’s announced that the 2026 Summer Arts Camp would be held at St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound Episcopal Church because of the upcoming renovation. By late May, parish staff offices had also officially relocated to the Ormond Center, while volunteers continued helping visitors and answering phones from the former office location.

These changes were more than temporary adjustments. They reflected the parish’s preparation for construction and the beginning of a new phase in the larger effort to improve accessibility and update St. Paul’s facilities.

The renovation plans include major improvements such as stairless access between key areas of the church, larger and updated restrooms, and an elevator to make the Parish House more accessible. Additional plans have also included improvements to ministry, education, nursery, and gathering spaces.

By the end of spring, St. Paul’s had begun reorganizing how the campus was used so that renovation work could move forward. These early moves set the stage for the first active construction and environmental remediation work that followed in the summer of 2026.
